Slave Quarters Reopen

Mount Vernon recently renovated and totally redid our greenhouse slave quarters -- the area of the estate where George Washington's skilled slaves lived, which was in close proximity to the Mansion itself. Next time you're at Mount Vernon, please check the slave quarters out, but in the meantime, find out what they're all about in this video. Filmed and produced by Becca Milfeld. Music by David and Ginger Hildebrand.
